I want to post these two pictures because they show what is happening right now in Venezuela. The first picture represents the lack of freedom of speech by covering the girl's mouth. The second picture represents the horrible protests against the Venezuelan government.
As from my introduction, water is something I worship. I always have water by my side. Once, I found out about Charity:Water I began thinking of ways to raise money and awareness to this cause. They want to provide the 748 million people with access to clean water. World Water Day is tomorrow March 23 and we need to raise awareness. I am hosting a school wide fundraiser April 13th for this cause and all the proceeds will be donated to Charity:Water. Water is a basic necessity most of us take for granted. Lets make a difference and change this large number.
Recently it has been hitting me that soon I will be graduating and I will be working full time. I came across this saying and I feel it is very fitting. I want to love what I do especially when I am working full time. I want to be able to do exactly what I love to do. It just grabbed my attention because I feel I should remind myself of this especially as my career is approaching.
I saw this on Facebook shared by relatives in Colombia. This is just so captivating the way an artist took a plain wall that had a tree above it and saw an opportunity for a unique painting. I recognize that everyone sees things from different perspectives because I do not think I would have thought to use the over sized tree as hair for a person that I would paint beneath it. I just think this mural is very interesting!
